The AUTOMATEC universal test machine is capable of testing the fuel injection ignition Electronic Control Units Modules used on present day motor vehicles.

This is achieved by monitoring the fuel injection, ignition, idle valve etc functions of the ECU with an oscilloscope. Other outputs such as main relay, fuel pump relay, supply outputs etc are monitored by visual displays on the front panel of the test machine.

The test machine is capable of simulating the crankshaft, phase, T.D.C. hall, signals to a 0.001% accuracy from a digitally selected R.P .M. over the entire Rev range of the motor vehicle. Other outputs such as air flow, air temperature, map, coolant temperature, throttle potentiometer, knock sensor, etc are supplied by variable controls mounted on the front panel of the test machine.
These days motor vehicles have the ECU code locked to the ignition key therefore making the necessity of repairing your own unit, or going to your main dealer for an expensive replacement. The days of going to a scrap yard for a replacement ECU have gone. AUTOMATEC offers an ECU testing service of only £15 and a fixed price of £110 on all European and Japanese repaired or exchanged ECUs and a 12 months and unlimited milage warrenty. AUTOMATEC carries 1000s of exchange/remanufactured ECU,s in stock but subject to a refundable deposit of £100 on return of your own ECU. The majority of tested, repaired, exchange ECU,s are dispatched on the same day or the customer will be contacted.
